MiddleWorld Mysteries in Motion: Sharing Cup

middleworld mysteries Aug 28, 2024

For every person that comes through the 1st cycle of teachings in MiddleWorld Mysteries, a small clay cup is made to honour one more joining us in our community circle. The clay cups are hand built and carved with meaningful decorations, by one in our community who has a special skill in doing this with intention and awareness to the mysteries we lean towards.

Waters from our gatherings are used in the making of the cups, and memories of moments in cycle are held within the cups. We have many, many cups for the many, many people who have touched into this body of work. The collection keeps growing.

The cups are used at the start and end of each gathering, along with a vessel that holds water that we share around the circle. We bring our individual intentions into the waters of the community vessel and collectively share the water as a way to amplify our intentions forward.

Hooray for the wealth of cups growing in our collection, keeping all those who have come through in some way, held well and honoured forward.

Tucked within the folds of Ninth Wave Arts programming is our MiddleWorld Mysteries - Druid Wisdom offering. This offering is more than a program. It’s a growing community remembering itself as part of cycle and the greater population of seen and unseen beings. We strive to have good relations with each other, the spirits of place, lineage lines and the ancient ones.
